The bar's shaft is crafted from precision-ground alloy steel, coated with hard chrome for durability. Each batch of raw material is rigorously tested to ensure a consistent 190,000 PSI tensile strength, contributing to the bar's excellent whip and longevity in performance.
We precision weld the bar sleeves to prevent failures. The semi-concealed weld design ensures that plates rest flush against the sleeve collar without interference. Each sleeve boasts a hard chrome finish for added protection against impacts. Notably, our bar features American Barbell’s exclusive concealed bearing system, which has higher load ratings than any other bar on the market. Additionally, a dust and chalk seal is installed to prolong bearing life and maintain performance.
